LED Lights are up to 80% more efficient compared to halogens. LED\u2019s give off very little heat, a traditional light bulb is 95% heat and only 5% light, whereas a LED gives off 95% light and only 5% heat. LEDs can also last <a href=\"https:\/\/www.energy.gov\/energysaver\/led-lighting\">25 times longer<\/a> than Incandescent lights.<\/p>    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- \/module text -->\t\t\t\t<\/div><!-- .tb-column-inner -->\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div><!-- .module_column -->\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div><!-- .row_inner -->\n\t\t<\/div><!-- .module_row -->\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<!-- module_row -->\n\t\t<div  data-lazy=\"1\" class=\"module_row themify_builder_row tb_lxb8947 tf_w tf_clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"row_inner col_align_top tb_col_count_1 tf_box tf_rel\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div  data-lazy=\"1\" class=\"module_column tb-column col-full tb_n2e5947 first\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"tb-column-inner tf_box tf_w\">\n\t\t\t\t<!-- module text -->\n<div  class=\"module module-text tb_hj7t368  repeat \" data-lazy=\"1\">\n        <div  class=\"tb_text_wrap\">\n    <h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">How LED\u2019s are Different<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Light Source:\u00a0<\/strong>LEDs are the size of a fleck of pepper, and a mix of red, green, and blue LEDs is typically used to make white light.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Direction:\u00a0<\/strong>LEDs emit light in a specific direction, reducing the need for reflectors and diffusers that can trap light. This feature makes LEDs more efficient for many uses such as recessed downlights and task lighting. With other types of lighting, the light must be reflected to the desired direction and more than half of the light may never leave the fixture.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Heat:\u00a0<\/strong>LEDs emit very little heat. Instead, they fade over time, and when the light has decreased by 30 percent it\u2019s no longer considered useful. The Integrated fixtures we use come with a 15 year warranty and are expected to last for 50,000 hours. Traditionally in Landscape lighting we use either 2700K or 3000K. LED Lights are up to 80% more efficient compared to halogens. LED\u2019s give off very little heat, a traditional light bulb is 95% heat and only 5% light, whereas a LED gives off 95% light and only 5% heat. LEDs can also last <a href=\"https:\/\/www.energy.gov\/energysaver\/led-lighting\">25 times longer<\/a> than Incandescent lights.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">How LED\u2019s are Different<\/h2> <ul> <li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Light Source:\u00a0<\/strong>LEDs are the size of a fleck of pepper, and a mix of red, green, and blue LEDs is typically used to make white light.<\/li> <li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Direction:\u00a0<\/strong>LEDs emit light in a specific direction, reducing the need for reflectors and diffusers that can trap light. This feature makes LEDs more efficient for many uses such as recessed downlights and task lighting. With other types of lighting, the light must be reflected to the desired direction and more than half of the light may never leave the fixture.<\/li> <li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Heat:\u00a0<\/strong>LEDs emit very little heat. The Integrated fixtures we use come with a 15 year warranty and are expected to last for 50,000 hours. These fixtures are completely water tight, and much more durable than the retrofit fixtures, but they also cost more.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color:#f7ca15;\">Kelvin Temperatures<\/h3> <p>Kelvin Temperatures Determine what colour your lights are. Traditionally in Landscape lighting we use either 2700K or 3000K.
